Netdev 0x15, THE Technical Conference on Linux Networking
Netdev 0x15, is tentatively scheduled for July 20th to 23rd 2021 in San Francisco, USA. Our plan is to hold an in person conference assuming that the conditions around Covid-19 have improved, however if conditions warrant we do have the option of holding a virtual conference again.
We will try to make a definitive announcement about this at least six weeks before the conference date. Additionally, it seems likely that even if we do hold the conference in person there will be a hybrid component to accommodate remote participants that wish to opt out of attending in person.
Netdev 0x15, like all the previous netdev conferences, is a conference of the netdev community, by the netdev community, for the netdev community. Linux kernel networking and user space utilization of the interfaces to the Linux kernel networking subsystem are the focus. If you are using Linux as a boot system for proprietary networking, then this conference _may not be for you_.
The call for papers and workshops will be made early next year, so stay tuned!
