Common Net is an independent Italian operator that builds and runs its own data centres, fibre and fixed-wireless networks to bring cloud and connectivity to people and communities across Italy. Founded by a group of engineers and friends on a simple conviction: that technology should serve people, not the other way round. Common Net designs, deploys and supports every service in-house, on open-source and standard technologies, with no reseller in between and no vendor lock-in.

Common Net operates in Italy, but is part of a global community: it contributes upstream to open-source projects including the Linux kernel, and is proud to support Netdev 0x1A and help bring it to its home city, Rome.
